Meet Shadow our Founding Fur-friend! Our Paws for Parks Program provides an affordable option for your pet to help serve as an ambassador for the Greenwood Park Foundation.  A donation of $25 will result in your pet’s name being list on our Paws for Parks supporter list on our website as well as his or her photo showcased on our Facebook page.  We may also use your pet’s photo in other Park promotions!  Donations can also be made in memory of a deceased pet.  This is a great way to show your support for Greenwood’s parks and recreation amenities, including trails, dog parks, and greenspace and also to highlight your pet’s personality and cuteness with the community

To join the Paws for Parks program, please click the link below and donate $25 and then send an email to [email protected] with a copy of your pet’s photo, your pet’s name, and a short description of your pet to include in their Facebook post.

We welcome financial donations of any size to help support Greenwood’s parks and recreational programming. Donors of $100 or more will be recognized as Friends of the Greenwood Parks Foundation on our website and receive early priority notice for Foundation events.

Plant a dedicated tree in memory of a loved one in one of Greenwood’s parks.

• 4″ x 6″ bronze plaque (inlaid in concrete for placement)
• 1.75-inch caliper tree planted in an approved location in Greenwood City Parks
• You let us know what goes on the plaque and where you would like the tree, and we’ll handle the rest!

Cost: $600 (paid once plaque is received)

Time Frame:

• Total time frame depends on the time of year.
• Best time to plant a tree is fall or early spring.
• Production time for the plaque takes 6-8 weeks.

Would you like to donate a bench in honor or in memory of someone special? Through an agreement with the Greenwood Parks & Recreation Department, a donation will result in a bench affixed with a memory plaque in honor or in memory of your special someone.
